In High ...hmmm...I think there's soo much to that! In High School it was very hard to be a P.K. Some of my friends didn't attend church and they would always hush up when I came around, or they'd slip and say naughty words and then immediately say "oh, sorry" to me. I just wanted to fit in, not live up to the potential God expected of me, so I played it down and my actions and eventually my heart changed toward them and the world. In college, I was scared of the unknown after I would get out, and I didn't have the confidence to be what I was striving for, so I set things in my way on purpose so I would fail. That quote says it all. 15 years later, I'm married with kids and I pray that I'm adequate enough to instill in my kids the confidence, self awareness and realize their potential as God's children to do what the Lord has planned for them.
