Bible Journaling Kit Review

This past summer I started hearing about something called Bible journaling/art.  There are Bibles that are specifically made for this with wide blank margins.  I met a lady who had beautiful and meaningful art she drew and colored in her Bible that helped her study scripture and remember important verses.

My own personal Bible has many highlighted and underlined verses with a few sermon notes written in the margins or specific things God has taught me with a date.  

I was excited to get to try out this Bible journaling kit.  I thought it was a great idea to have a kit with everything needed to journal or draw in my Bible.
The kit includes:
·         4 sheets of word stickers

·         4 sheets of alphabet stickers

·         24 tab stickers

·         8 colored pencil twists

·         1 journaling pen

·         1 pouch with adjustable strap to fit Bibles of all sizes

·         1 ruled page protector mat with tracing lines

My thoughts??

*I really liked the journaling pen.  It has a fine tip and was easy to write with.

*I liked the look of the stickers and the phrases on them.  Maybe it is just personal preference, but I will not use them in my Bible.  I just can't bring myself to put stickers on the pages of my Bible!  I will use them other ways.

*The colored pencils are twistable so they do not need to be sharpened, but I found them flimsy and hard to color with.  The "lead" inside felt like it was bending as I pressed down and it was hard to draw with them.

*The pouch to hold everything is nice.  My Bible has a soft cover so I did not try it out, but I like the idea.

*Overall, I would not recommend this kit.  I will use some parts of it, but I do not think it is worth the price.  

This is just my opinion.  I am sure there are others who really like this kit and will get a lot of use out of it.
